This will be Buster's thread where we will keep any new updates and/or photos.
Date of arrival to MHWF:  10/05/2011
Buster Brown - 14 yrs.

Buster Brown is a 14 year old QH gelding. He is 15.2 hands tall, very well broke to saddle and is current on all his shots, wormers and trims. This is one big meaty guy. We are going to adopt this guy out as a trail horse only. Buster will make someone a wonderful trail horse. He has a ton of experience. His pictures due him no justice, this is a big muscled out guy.  We have lots of information to share on this guy with anyone who is interested in him.

Hubba, hubba!! What a nice looking horse. Someone is going to get themselves a nice trail horse.

He is a nice looking horse. I like the head shot!

Gorgeous!  Can't see him spending much time at MHWF.  And it's prime trail riding season!

Nice boy! I like the head shot too.  He has a very chiseled definition to his face that is just lovely.

With his Pony Club experience, why would he only be adopted out as a trail horse? Was there an injury?

Buster suffered a suspensory injury in spring of 2010 (an injury he suffered out in the pasture in his previous home), and he has had the time off from that injury and has been sound now over the summer and this fall, and even had a month of "refresher" training.  He did come up with an abscess or two that caused him to be off (before his arrival back here, and he is sound now), but at this point we are considering what Buster can do besides trail riding and we will be happy to discuss that with any approved applicant who is interested in him.

*Buster* looks regal. He is one beautiful boy.

no surprise that he is gone taken already! ;)

Congratulations! *Buster* You finally found your adopted family. Good for you. I sure hope that there will be alot of updates and photos of *Mr. Buster*..

Congrats!!!!  No, there is no surprise there at all.  I figured the 1st person to have the appointment would take him home.  Beautiful boy and lucky people to have adopted him.

Auntie Jean - he is gorgeous.  Welcome to the "MHWF Adoptors"  Axel and I had a bond that no one could touch!  Hopefully Buster is the horse you have been looking for!

Jenni O.

Congratulations!  We expect some photos with updates, since he wasn't at MHWF long enough for Karen to take very many of him.  :)

Well, we had our first ride together today! We went through the woods and around the fields behind the barn. He is an absolute dream!!!!!! I did most of the talking, and he was a gentleman and just listened. He IS the one I have been searching for!!! Thanks a bunch again to MHWF, once again you have blessed the lives of horse and owner!!!!!!!!
