Really, no replies? Everyone must be dead. I'm not though! Can I trade her for one spazzy and hopefully recuperating Arab gelding? Just kidding. I think she and Thunder would make a great pair. Lady looks to be in great shape and ready to ride.
Love this mare. She's perfect.
Congratulations to Passion Lady and her new family!
She is a beauty!
Blink Blink! Congratulations to Lady and her new adopters! She is a beauty!
Wow that was fast! Doesn't surprise me though; she's a beauty! Congratulations to her new family!
Wow, that sure was fast :-) Hopefully Mike will find his forever home soon also.
That was quick! Lady is such a great horse and they sure don't come any prettier than her either. Peggy was looking for a horse for herself after losing her riding companion, and Lady wasn't even the horse she came to look at. You know how that goes, you get here and in meeting some of the other horses you never know who the lucky one might be that gets picked or picks their new home. :)
Thank you so much Peggy, and we look forward to hearing from you and hearing how things are going. Thank you to her husband Jim as well for helping Scott with the RV!! We really appreciate it. Here is a picture of Peggy and Lady from adoption day, 7/28/2013. I want to explain the beautiful pink halter that Lady is wearing. A wonderful lady named Toni came by the MHWF farm brought 20 halters, 10 pink and 10 blue. The Sandy Hook tragedy hit her really hard and she was thinking about the 20 acts of kindness and she came up with this idea. Each horse that gets adopted now will leave with a beautiful rope halter with attached lead rope, pink for the mares and blue for the geldings. You will notice that there is a little horse figure attached to the halter, and each one of those little wooden horses attached to the halter has the name of a Sandy Hook victim on it. What a wonderful way to remember them and share their memory! Here is an adoption day picture of Lady in the beautiful pink halter in remembrance of OLIVIA from the Sandy Hook tragedy. Congratulations! Not surprised this mare didn't last long before someone snatched her up. Don't be afraid to send in photos of this pretty girl!
What a gorgeous photo! Enjoy her, Peggy, she looks like a gem.
Congrats, she sure is a fine looking Arab!! Love my Arabs....
Not only an Arab, but a chestnut Arab! And all that trail experience! Buddy sour Arabs reside here, lol, but I don't have room for another. But if I did...
Wow! and did I say, WOW!
I am really surprised this mare is still available. I thought certainly she would be snatched up for some fun fall trail riding....seems like such a great mare.
Really? Nobody wants a nice mare for some winter riding lessons? Putting in a plug for this lovely mare, although I haven't met her. Don't let her age scare you. My 25 year old Morab mare has been ridden regularly this summer and fall, and not only keeps up but leads quite a bit of the time. My mare is also buddy sour, but I'm able to ride her away from home alone, as well as trailer her alone to ride.
Jennifer, Karen and I say the same thing every day....how come we have not had a single call on this gal. We know her well and she is the kind of horse everyone wishes they had one more of. Not only that, but she is only 19, young in Arabian years and is in excellent condition. She has no real wear and tear and until you mentioned her age here, I forgot she was in her teens. We always have looked at her as a younger horse because of her condition and the way she looks as well.
If anyone want a fantastic trail horse, call us, we cannot figure out why she is still here and why nobody has come to look at her.
I just don't get it either :) she is a beauty!
Not a single call??? All I can say is WOW. She is perfect. Time to play the lottery, win, buy a larger place etc etc.
I see a big red ADOPTED under her name. Congratulations!
Congratulations! Lady is a great horse!
Really?? Woo hoo!! Congratulations, and I hope the adopter keeps us posted. Lady is my kind of horse, and I bet she's going to be so much fun.
