And remember last year when the raffle tumbler was a tiny bit too small.....no more issues with that this year..... (Last year's on the right, new one on the left).

Here is a first-response kit for leg injuries with waterproof carry bag. Immediate flushing to remove obvious dirt, grass, etc. then application of a non-stick wound cover,  then padding, followed by a moderate pressure wrap for support and control of bleeding will minimize wound contamination and help protect the hurt tissues til the vet arrives. You don't have to be fancy, just effective. If you don't know how to wrap a lower leg properly, ask your vet for info.

Oh, the watch? So you can count your horse's pulse and respiration rate.

As you all know, we have a real auctioneer for this year's live auction portion of the raffle party!  We are really excited about this and happy that Matt is coming to help us out in such a big way!  This will really make things flow very smoothly and the auction will go much faster and make is a lot of fun for everyone.

Another thing that we are implementing is bid numbers for everyone.  Unlike a real auction, these bid numbers are free, we will just sign everyone up with a bid number and give them their bidding card to hold up when they bid on an item.  This is also going to help move the auction along much smoother.  Here is a picture of one of the bid numbers that we made up, and your number will be on the other side of it.  [smile]

We are really getting excited to see all of you this Saturday!!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention...what a stellar forecast for Saturday!  Right around the 70 degree mark and no rain!  (it can please stop raining any time....we have been getting rain almost daily now for over a week again)
