Titan - 15 yrs.

$600 - Titan is a 15 year old APHA gelding. He stands at 14.2 hands tall and is sound, healthy and well broke. Titan is now current on all his shots and trims and is ready to go for the season. He is pretty laid back and has been ridden both English and Western. He has been out on the trails and has even done parades., riding in traffic in groups and out alone. We will update his listing as we know more and after we get to test ride him.

Holy freakin' Moly! What a gorgeous boy who looks to have it all going on for him! You may need a bank of phones to field calls this afternoon.
Oh, if I could have another horse, he would be the ONE! Looks like a male version of my  horse "Honey". Someone will be very lucky!

He looks awesome, if I didn't get my T/W this winter I would be jumping the gun for this guy.

Update: 6/14/2013

After only being here for 24 hours we had the time and the weather to get Titan out for a test ride. He did very well. You can tell he is a little rusty not having been ridden much in the past year or so, but we were very happy with his first ride here at MHWF. He moves right out when you ask him to and comes right back down when you want that too. Titan has a ton of potential and could do just about anything. He is a very willing partner and did not really question any cues or test his rider. His ground manners need a little refresher, but we were very pleased with how he did.

OK, is someone hiding this thread back on page two for a reason? I have to bump him up to look at again! Someone out there must be filling out an application or having the "talk" with their husband...

I cannot believe that we do not have an appointment to show this horse.....are all of you awake out there? You all see this horse right?
I can't believe there isn't a mile long line of people waiting to meet him! Gorgeous and sounds like he's a nice ride
I'd be there in a heartbeat if board was not $475 a month. There's something a bout this horse th as t reminds me of the equine love of my life, T.R. Any sugar daddies out there who want to see an old lady do cartwheels of joy?

If I was ready!!! I'd be pushing to the front of the line for him.  I have a perfect visual of Titan, and the three mini-donkeys in my pasture.

He's a beautiful one for sure! Too bad Haze has enough friends right now! LOL! But goodness Peggy, I nearly fell over myself when you said board was $475! Wowee! I thought my $340 was a lot! LOL!

I can't believe he hasn't been snatched up yet! He seems like the total package!
Gulp, I will not complain about the $150 (but that does come without sweat n work but we never mind that)  Great care takers that we consider family.

Where are the riders out there looking for a great horse? I would be hauling him home already, but am paying $700.00 a month to board our three, and yes, I AM CRAZY and we ARE looking for our own place...NOW
Back to Titan!
Saw the big ADOPTED sign underneath Titan's name. They are very lucky to have him. Congratulations Titan and adopters!
Congratuations to Titan and his new family!
Titan did get adopted yesterday and he left for his new home today!  Val and her family came and met Titan and it really was a great match.  Titan was really having some adjustment issues here, he turned into studly man with the mares in heat and really had a big lack of ground manners going on to boot.  We got to watch Val work with him yesterday and today and she really understands him and has the patience it takes to work him through things and get those ground manners where they need to be.  Val and her daughter will be riding together a lot now, and Titan will love being in a herd of 2 again with Val and her family.

Thank you so much Val, and a big congratulations from all of us!

I want to explain the beautiful blue halter that Titan is wearing. A wonderful lady named Toni came by the MHWF farm brought 20 halters, 10 pink and 10 blue. The Sandy Hook tragedy hit her really hard and she was thinking about the 20 acts of kindness and she came up with this idea. Each horse that gets adopted now will leave with a beautiful rope halter with attached lead rope, pink for the mares and blue for the geldings. You will notice that there is a little horse figure attached to the halter, and each one of those little wooden horses attached to the halter has the name of a Sandy Hook victim on it. What a wonderful way to remember them and share their memory! Here is an adoption day picture of Titan and Val, and the beautiful blue halter in remembrance of BENJAMIN from the Sandy Hook tragedy.

Congratulations to Val.. *Titan* will be happy that he is getting loved, and cared for. Being with just one, in pasture, might be just exactly what he will THRIVE with. Good luck, and I sure hope Val, that you have the time for some updates.

So happy to see this boy find a home! Congratulations, Val, you do have one gorgeous, talented boy there!
Thank you!

Titan is home and settling in. Him and Jo (my daughter's mare) each have their own space and are getting to know each other over the fence. There wasn't the big show I was expecting, so I think he is going to fit in very nicely here. When I went out to check on the apple tree in the pasture, he followed right along with me, just like a puppy dog. I think we are going to get along great! :-)

I will keep you posted on how he is doing and send pictures!

Thank you again for everything! :-)

Congrats and LOVE the update!!  I love when they surprise us like that :)
I just wanted to post an update about Titan. He is doing great! He is a perfect gentleman and very well behaved! He was ouchie on stones or pavement, so had the farrier out to put shoes on his front and he stood like an angel. He truly has an awesome personality!:-)

Weather here has been sweltering, so we hosed the horses down and my daughter snapped a couple pics with her phone, so I have included those. Again, he stood like a gentleman. :-)

It is supposed to be reasonable temps today, so we are finally going to go for a real ride tonight!

Hopefully the bugs won't carry us off!

Yaaaaaay!!!!!  I'm elated to hear that things are going well with Titan!!  Thanks for the update, Val.
How's it going with separating the two of them out?
