Someone got a really nice looking horse, and sounds like she will be a fun one to ride.  She's only the next one on my list I've seen here that I'd get if I didn't have my own.  Congrats to the lucky owner!

It was a lot of Driving on a beautiful Saturday......  We were happy to see She's Painted Morning and do a quick test ride.  Then the votes came in unanimous to load her up and adopt her.  All of my horse back riding friends gave her the thumbs up. We got home on the edge of darkness and she was happy to see the herd. We have her alone first to get introduced. On Sunday, I trailered Morning and my Peruvian Noche to my friend Julia's farm where we met her Morgan horse Winnie. We tacked and went on a nice 1 1/2 hr. trail ride.  Everyone got along and Morning was confident and sure footed. She gaited nicely. Today, I will take my first test ride. But I am very confident that Morning is a welcomed addition to our herd. She behaves very well and she moves along nicely. She is a sweetheart. We all agree she is a "Keeper"..... And her buddy Sugar is likely going to be a prize for her adopted home..... I wish I could have taken her as well......

Today was my first ride on Morning....  She was a good girl and very smooth.... My daughter Stephanie liked her test ride too.....  Again everyone has thumbs up.
I still have her separate from my herd... I tried to put my Peruvian Gelding and a very Old Grandma Horse in with her this afternoon.... but the Peruvian began to chase her after I was almost in the house..... so I gave her her own area again.....Poor gal. I know she was in the large group at MHWF...... I think I have some snotty horses..... But eventually I hope they will accept her..... everyone is curious....looking over the fence,
Now to just get them to welcome her....   No problems when we are in a trailer or working and riding together.....

Another great trail ride .... Barb rode She's Painted Morning......  Boy what a well behaved horse~ she has given all of us wonderful rides. and she behaves very well considering she has had so many different riders.   Another new trail tomorrow.....
She is a welcomed horse for all of us.  I hope the "Donor" is happy to get my updates. "The Donor" must have done a lot of work with Morning.... I'm sure the new home for Sugar will be just as impressed.  And I hope that the "Donor" will feel good about all of our good reports on Morning and feel that she has a very good New Home.  And for those of you new to this MHWF,  I hope this encourages you to adopt a wonderful horse......

Hi Grace -
Bless you for giving Morning a wonderful new home.  And especially for getting her out on the trail where she loves to be.  We're sure you'll take great care of her and help her fit in with her new herd.  We still love her dearly and look forward to your updates.  Thanks to MHWF for making another great match!

Another Great Ride yesterday.  The vet looked at her Sarcoid and gave me a Zinc with Blood Root Ointment and said to put it on for 6 days and that maybe it will shrink it ....or maybe even get rid of it....
But it really has not hurt her when riding her. Today she has a day off....   and soon it will be hunting season... so I'll likely treat the Sarcoid during those days.  She has been out for about 1 to 1 /12 hr rides.  She gets tired but is still willing to go.  And she is excited to see the trailer come in her driveway.....prances around and  loads very well....  Also she stood tied very patiently while the vet was looking at other animals.
I am also glad to hear that the Donor is happy to get our updates .....  Thanks for such good training and such a sweetheart of a horse, Your work with her in the past shows !!!!!  Thank You and be Proud of your hard work ..... It has made a nice gal.
