We have been playing around with an idea for a long time and maybe it's time to give it a try.
Our forum and website get a lot of traffic. We have had as many as 13,000 visitors in a single day. Why not use that traffic to help you and MHWF at the same time?
So here it is.....
You have something you are trying to sell. We have a website that gets a lot of traffic. Why not let us list your item for you here on our site? We list your item, you sell it and MHWF gets a 10% commission/donation. That 10% would also be tax deductible. If it doesn't sell, no commission, no harm done.
Cars, trucks, campers, ATVs, trailers, tack...you name it. Items must have a sale value of at least $250.00. There is no high end limit to the sale value, so higher priced items are equally welcome. No animal sales will be permitted.
If you have an item you wish to sell and are willing to donate 10% of the sale to MHWF for helping sell it, email us and we will be happy to work with you by listing it here on the forum as well as the MHWF website.
For a 15% donation we are willing to take possesion of the item you wish to sell and do the actual selling for you as well. That would include showing your item as well as listing it on Ebay and/or Craiglist. This would also include everything involved in getting your item sold, paid for and shipped. We would hope that with a little success we could have a dozen or so items listed at any given time, helping you sell your items and making a nice donation to MHWF at the same time.

Oh this sounds fabulous. My mom has lots of very cool antique items, I have entire china sets, but we are leery of trying to sell on ebay etc. I will talk to her about your 15% service! Woo hoo, this could be awesome! I've got some older snowmobiles that need homes also...whew, the wheels are spinning! |

Very cool idea. Can't say I have anything to sell right now, but if I did, I'd totally be game. Hopefully in the next year or so I'll be looking to sell my house to buy a farm...... |

I'm for it and will start with my old trailer. Scott I'll contact you tomorrow about it. I'll just put this in quick, it's a 4-horse stock. It came back to me in rough shape, but is still very useable (sp). Not pretty and has rust. The dude I trusted with it trashed it, but it's still in pretty good shape........ |

Like the idea. Oh no Wendy, not the "Ferd Police Trailer"! I hope with a little paint, it will be back to it's previous shape. |

I have a saddle I have been trying to sell. Only issue is I am over by Appleton. I am sure there is a way around that though. |
