Every now and then I run across someone writing that a horse's character can by judged by its face, like Roman nose=stubbornness, small eye=stupidity and meanness, large, wide set eyes=intelligence; high forehead=intelligence; moose nose (bump in the profile just above the nostrils)=courage and confidence. Is there any evidence behind these beliefs? Can anyone cite examples from their own experiences?
